Haley is forever my favorite character and because Nathan treats her like she deserves I like him too.

2023-01-26 17:17:57 +0000 UTCI love the fact that i remember nothing of the first 5 to 6 seasons and im basically watching this with yall for the first time. Crazy, i used to be the type to always say if i havent watched a show i aint wasting time watching someone react to it and even tho technically i did sort watch this show WHEN I WAS 7, it is honestly as if im watching it for the first time. I know a couple of major things that happen in this but im so lost i dont even know what season it happens in let alone the episode. This is so fun tho

2021-07-25 08:45:00 +0000 UTCcan i just say i love that you defend lucas! i am super hard on his character and many of us are but it's always so pleasant to see you give him the benefit of the doubt. he is still supposed to be a dumb teenager and a little grace given his way is really nice to see and helps to put things into perspective. i did like his character this episode. he's still his broody self but it showed more self awareness and him owning up to things and making things right with haley.

2021-07-24 17:20:32 +0000 UTCI loved this episode as well! In defense of Lucas, because that seems like the position I'll always take, it really does feel like you're losing a friend when they are in a romantic relationship. It always feels like they are choosing their partner over you, and that happened a couple of times in this episode with Haley. Also, it always feels like the onus was on Lucas to forge a relationship with Nathan, and in my opinion, he tries much harder than Nathan does. But Nathan always shuts him down, unfortunately. I know that Nathan is going through a lot, but this is a consistent thing with Nathan and Lucas' relationship. Nathan often pushes Lucas away. I really enjoyed seeing Brooke, Haley and Peyton work together in this episode. It was quite refreshing. And I am happy that Brooke won that award! She totally deserved it and I commend her behavior on this trip. She didn't have to rise above all the nonsense but she chose to do so for the team she cares so much about. Beauty and grace, that Brooke Davis. I also loved how Peyton supported her and motivated her.

2021-07-24 11:40:29 +0000 UTCThanks for the reaction. Love Mouth, is probably one of my fav characters. Also, one thing I noticed, with Keith this episode and other shows and characters, and not just with you guys (other reactors too) - you seem to think that people can help what they feel - which most (if not all people can't help). You always talk about ''he or she has no right to be feeling hurt or jealous or sad'', which I found to be a very common thing with people nowadays. But most of the time people feel how they feel, because they cannot help their feelings (it's not about having the right to feel one way or another) and a little true empathy goes a long way in understanding human nature. Also, one scene that stands out to me was the end where the camera pans from Brooke (looking)- to all the parents that come to pick up the kids - to Nathan (also looking at the same thing). It's incredible camera work IMHO, Along with the music (which is fantastic as always), it hits you right in the feels. Awesome episode, thanks for the reaction.

2021-07-24 07:19:57 +0000 UTCgod....brooke crying alone at her vanity after the game really is heartbreaking. peyton was her person. they were always together all the time, both very alone in the world. if things were different, after the away game, peyton would probably have come over - or brooke would have gone to her's - and they'd have one of their sleepovers and cuddle in bed and gossip and laugh together. but brooke going home to what i am assuming is an empty house, completely alone, crying alone in her bedroom, it really just hits so hard. in her mind, she is completely alone. and wow, i just want to hug her in that scene. i love this episode so much. it's one of my top favorites. for all the episodes of OTH, there's like ten or so episodes that always stand out to me and that make me so excited for, and this was one of them. i love seeing more of nathan and lucas together. their banter has become less cruel and more just picking at each other. when lucas was like "then i met you, and changed my mind" or whatever he said and nathan kind of chuckled. and when nathan made that shot and pointed to lucas in the stand.....they have a long way to go, but they're a work in progress lol i loved when lucas asked if he could join him at the gym and nathan let him. little things like that whereas before they'd argue or have a big blow out fight, it's more toned down into banter than bullying. and i loved how real nathan was with him when confronting him for not being so kind to haley and i think he won some lucas points for that one, even if lucas wouldn't ever admit it. he's always so worried nathan will hurt her but he was the one messing up. i liked the tone of that scene, nathan just kind of drawing attention to the issue and being like "dude, that's not okay" without it being all antagonistic. there's improvements between them in little moments like that that i pick up on where a few episodes ago, things might not be the same. mouth is so precious!! he and brooke's friendship/dynamic they've developed is so cute!! it takes me back to when she went to visit lucas at the river court that first time and sat right beside mouth and struck up a conversation with him. this comment is kind of all over the place, but that's what this episode did to my emotions lol there's so many highs and happy points and fun moments that i love about this episode, and then that ending....the heaviness of loneliness. you can just feel it, even through the screen. the feeling of having so much fun one weekend, and the weekend ends and you come home and there's this feeling of ".....now what?" i loved the ending and i'm so excited for the other episodes to come!

2021-07-24 05:20:23 +0000 UTCI think you will see more of the friends in later seasons. Season 1 is more about building the most out of the main characters. I love Mouth so much, he is so cute and fun lol
