thank you for pointing this out, that's how i took it as well - that the lack of resolution was the point and thus justifying her initial fears even more. gina is a handful but my heart went out to her and i was a little :/ that their initial thought was that she was making the entire thing up. but in a way, that's kind of the attitude that rosa and amy had, not that she was making it up necessarily but that her fears weren't genuine. i'm glad holt set them straight about that. i thought the whole storyline was really well done and i was happy to see them come together to support her and comfort her in the end. too many things go unsolved and it's nice to see a cop show touch on that. for all the humor of the show and antics, there's lots of moments of truth and serious topics as well. it's one thing i appreciate quite a lot about this show

The lack of a resolution is the whole point of that story, and it’s sadly true to life.
