The relationship between the Doctor and the Master has always been very love/hate. In the classic series it was better shown, the reason you're probably confused is that the new series really ramped up the Master to insane levels of evil where in the old series he was more "cultured" and had moments of sincerity.

2021-07-30 05:25:38 +0000 UTCgood reaction, I was ecstatic when Missy showed up because I love her and to me two episodes in last season wasn't enough, I also Love the Doctor playing the guitar which Peter Capaldi actually played, Capaldi was in a punk rock band in the 80's with Craig Ferguson (Drew Carey Show, Late Late Show) the band was The Dreamboys and Capaldi played Guitar and was the singer and Ferguson played Drums

2021-07-30 04:54:22 +0000 UTCThis season's opening 2 parter was fucking amazing! I remember when kid!davros said his name, and the look on the doctor's face still gave me chills to this day! But the Skaro reveal by the end? Mega chills. As you can tell, this season is in my top favs of all time. Whenever I miss dw i would rewatch this and s4 everytime lol. I'll give this episode an 8.5 though cuz the amazingness of this season is just the beginning! I hope you'll have a blast with this one like I did, Steven!
