2021-08-07 21:43:24 +0000 UTCQuite honestly, I think this one of the best pilot episodes ever. It sets everything up so perfectly. It introduces the haves verses the have nots of the town perfectly so you really feel the dynamic. And sets up some great mysteries in the Lily Kane murder, Veronica’s rape, and Veronica’s mom. Veronica herself is set up as someone with a great sense of humor who loves her father (their relationship is amazing), but also that she’s tough and sticks up for the little guy. It’s just so great. An easy 10 out 10 as far as pilots go.
