And I think they said Roland's great grandfather on the sign of the town was named Horace Schitt (Horse shit) LOL.

I think Johnny's business "Rose Video" was a national chain of video rental stores -- in this fictional universe, he was Blockbuster, so to speak, and it must have been hugely successful for them to be as rich as they were, with the kids hanging out with international celebrities. Moira's fame as a an actress in daytime soaps may also have boosted their lifestyle, though it seems to be a while since her peak fame. I looked up the "raisin in champagne" trick. Apparently there's a tip going around that dropping a raisin into a bottle of flat champagne will create bubbles. But it doesn't really work, because air bubbles aren't the same as the original fizz we expect from champagne.
