2021-08-18 07:21:48 +0000 UTCSimmons maybe a terrible liar but she is getting better at it (1x16?), hence the lack of 'gorgeous head' references, and is good at preparation(1x13). So at the beginning of the episode we see her prep for her test, looking at how the machine works and this machine was built to beat Romanoff(1x18). At the end of the episode when Mace is giving his speech about 'saving the girl in Vienna' we see her closely examining the TV monitors with a quizzical look. Season 1 Simmons would have probably kept it to herself but the more seasoned and confidant season 4 Simmons uses it to her advantage to 'blackmail' Mace into getting a pass on another lie detector test. Another great episode and appreciate the effort it took to get this out. Many thanks.
