I like this episode a lot. It does feel like a legit horror movie. The creatures are scary too. The Wesley scene is powerful and well acted and Amy Acker kills it as always. I just don’t like that Cordy can just solve everything by glowing. It’s very deus ex machina. I feel like that’s an anticlimactic way to resolve the story. They said that Cordy is now part demon. But we never establish what that means or what powers she developed. And now whenever the hang is in trouble they can just say, Cordy uses her demon powers and solves everything. Without establishing what those powers are. It feels very cheap to me. Otherwise I think the episodes great

2021-08-18 18:38:20 +0000 UTCI like season 3 better than season 2 because the whole “father will kill the son” prophecy and storyline is more interesting to me than all of the darla stuff in season 2. I also love the character development for Wesley this season.
