Nathan is still completely in the right, he has needs and isn't pressuring her. As for the photos if they aren't recent I can see not remembering to delete them

I get where Haley is coming from about the porn. You gotta remember, she’s not an older woman with a few sexual relationships, casual or not, under her belt. She’s sixteen and a virgin. Not only is she nervous and self conscious about being naked in front of Nathan, she’s also worried about him secretly comparing her to his previous hookups and Peyton. That’s why she wondered if he was going to be expecting her to be a porn star. It is naive, but that’s how it is with virgin girls who are going through all of this for the first time. Then, of course, there’s the very difficult choice she’s made to stay a virgin until marriage. She knows that’s hard for Nathan, who’s so used to sex, but it’s also hard for her to not give him that and NOT wonder if he can handle a sexless relationship. I understand why the porn hurt her because she’s just not used to sex being a part of her life in any way, including porn, and maybe it just hurts her to think of the first boy she ever loved looking at and desiring other women, even if it’s just on the internet. Nathan doesn’t see it that way because, unlike Haley who has decided that sex is the ultimate form of trust and devotion, he sees it more casually the way most people do. And as for the pictures of Peyton? He shouldn’t have that. That’s his ex. Doesn’t matter if he got them before they broke up. The moment Haley became a part of his life, those pictures should have been gone. Virgin or no, that would hurt anyone.

Can we please get the finale earlier 💕💕

Exactly I find it really disrespectful! And I’m glad Haley didn’t put up with she’s not a doormat.

Believe it or not there are allot of countries and cultures today where porn is not common. And two generations ago it was not a thing like it is today. the US is the porn capital of the world, so views there Will be differet, like with drugs and Guns. For me, I think Nathan was disrespectful and I would not have tolerated it. Also, there is nothing that is so unattachtive as a man thats a slave to his urges, Now a man who is in control and can redirect his energy, that is hot, like a warrior munk kind of thing!

About the whole Haley situation I didn’t really like this storyline cause it always felt like the writers saw how good Naley was doing and decided to throw some drama in there. Anyways I totally understand Haley I remember what it’s like being 16 year old girl and never having sex and just being insecure that’s Haley. Haley wasn’t being a prude or anything she was just insecure and she says that. She says it’s not that he’s watching the porn she’s scared that he’s gonna compare her to the other girls and that picture of Peyton was just the icing on the cake. This storyline is so realistic cause I know myself and a lot of my friends would feel this way to. Cause back then in 2003 porn wasnt really a conversation people either watched it or didn’t watch it. I feel like boys are just gonna like Haley is such a prude and that’s not the case I think it’s because they can’t relate and girls can.

Regarding Haley, she explained her feelings very well and I definitely understood what she was saying. And from a girl's point of view it makes sense. But from a guys point of view we know that's incredibly naive which I believe it's the point (to show Haley's inexperience and overreacting to the porn). The truth is that most of us watched porn or similar on one time or another (guys and girls - but less) and whoever said didn't is definitely lying. Sex is one of the most important part of a relationship. And guys of all ages (but especially teenage guys) have urges (as uncomfortable as it may seem) it's the truth. And I completely was on Nathan side on this one and it seemed like an awesome thing to do, getting his rocks off in a harmless way instead of pressuring Haley about sex. Anyway it really looked like the writers are trying to much to make this ep like a after school special and it just falls flat for me. But the rest of the episode is great!

oh boy this coming episode next week is going to be a BLAST lol i agree, this episode felt a bit calmer. i think it's like to bridge last weeks' episode and next weeks. it'd get exhausting to pack a ton of drama and high stakes things in every single episode. but i thought it was a pretty solid episode and set the groundwork for what's to come very well. also, re: haley. i think she's in the right here. i mean, i totally am for anyone doing whatever as long as it doesn't harm anyone and that's exactly what nathan is doing. however, she even said in her statement "you know i'm not a prude" that it's less about the act of watching the porn, and more about does he really take her feeling into consideration. she's scared, and to see the girls he's been with and the girls he's watching on screen, she feels intimdiated by them. like she said, they know all these moves, are waxed, experienced, etc. and she's just very worried about it as it is, but now add in the thought of having to "measure up." it just makes her anxieties even worse. she doesn't think she's enough for nathan. she's worried that he's going to want something more, something more than what she could give - hence the "i can give you my heart" conversation. i think it's a very realistic storyline for a lot of girls watching also oh my gosh i love the moments of nathan and lucas hanging out and being friends. they're so cute when they set aside all the nonsense and just get to know each other.. i loved nathan pushing him to come run with him and just all their scenes together i just really enjoyed! like the previous commentor mentioned, yeah nikki would have gotten custody. even with her nonsense and regardless of that, there'd still be the trial and lawyers and all those legal fees. and i have a feeling that even if by some miracle, jake won custody, she wouldn't stop. we can see the lengths she's willing to go to, even putting her own daughter in harm. she doesn't want that little girl because she loves her, she sees her as an object, a possession that she has a "right" to have, and she'll stop at nothing to get. it's really sick and twisted, and i am so glad jake and jennie got out of that situation. props to peyton for that. she does care for them a lot, and it took a lot of maturity to put aside her own attachments to help them the way she did. overall i just really enjoyed this episode and i am sooooooooo excited for the next one :)

When it comes to Jake, keep in mind this was 2003 and dads getting 50/50 custody is still difficult in some areas now. Even with Nikki choosing to leave, she left for college, there are many courts where, if they went about it legally, Nikki would have gotten custody and her parents guardianship, until she was “ready”, giving fathers sole custody was difficult at best back then EDIT:sry I wrote that when the mall part was happening, but still pretty much applies.
