He likes rebekah and was not having it lmao. I whole heartedly believe that is what influenced his feelings about her, when he was like “im not feein her character”. Steve rest assured there is a high potential of you liking her purely because of the quality of character writing in this show

You can say that it made sense with the time and location, but I think it was a unimaginative way to write his character. Also, in this process, they literally create and perpetuate yet another racial stereotype, but this time it's with Klaus as the white savior, which I think has unfortunate effects throughout the entire series.

2021-08-23 18:42:35 +0000 UTCSo I'll put this out here right now (btw I haven't seen the reaction yet) but just want to say The Originals is not TVD so I say this to manage your expectations on the twists and cliffhangers. Don't get me wrong there defintely is sum, but it is much more of a slow brew type of show. There is a lot of build-up before things go down.

2021-08-23 13:28:04 +0000 UTCYou keep asking why Klaus and Rebecca don't just kill Marcel. It is made clear that it is because Klaus and Rebecca love him like family. Klaus loves Marcel like a son while Rebecca loves him romantically. When Rebecca had Marcel up against the wall and threatened to kill him, Marcel even says "no you won't". So, Marcel also knows that they will not kill him and that is why Marcel is so confident in his interactions with the Originals. Because ultimately they are family. Just like Elijah, Klaus and Rebecca may do and say horrible things to each other, when it comes down it it they are family.

Also Davinas story its so interesting the lore is amazing in the original’s like every character brings something to the table even the side characters can’t wait for future episodes

2021-08-23 09:12:19 +0000 UTCAnd with the whole Marcel wanting to kill Klaus thing I feel like since Marcel knows Klaus and the family pretty well which means he is aware of how smart Klaus is when it comes to his enemies. Therefore he might just want to have some kind of leverage and protection just in case, I don't feel like he is activelt wanting to take out Klaus atleast not right now imo. I also don't think he is fully aware of Klaus's intentions yet but since he knows him and knows that Klaus always has an angle, he probably just wants to have something over him

2021-08-23 06:08:23 +0000 UTCYayy im so excited for this show <3 As for Marcel and Rebekah's connection, at first I did find it weird because if Klaus loved him like a son then Rebekah was also a part of his family and like an aunt to him... so it's kinda :Dd idk if I was Klaus, I probably wouldnt want them to be together either. However vampires are immortal so time and age isn't really a thing they would be worried about and eventually I was fine with it. I just want them all to be happy :Dd 😃😃💕🥺🥺
