Finally got around to watching the first two episodes and I absolutely loved this one!! That may be because I knew nearly the entire guest cast (love Judith Hoag aka the psycho wife) but it was also just really well done and fun. Can't wait to continue.

2021-10-03 08:16:47 +0000 UTCSo the reason the Sheriff comes out of the trees comes from a scene near the beginning where Patrick or Lisbon, can't remember which one, said they should patrol/search the woods around the restaurant. Of course i didn't pick up on that my first watch through. Like you when it happened i was like "it was YOU!!!?" Turned out Sheriff was just trying to be a good guy who comes off creepy. I think his creepyness comes from his old-fashion/southern manners/good-old boyness.
