I don't think Rick is a villain at all but everyone is someones villain. Rick was starting to be in the outside world to long, so trusting people was an issue for him because when he did they turned on him and his people. In his mind it would take longer for them to become apart of us and there were those people who didn't make it easy by not wanting them there in the first place.

Starting in Alexandria (for me) she definitely started to become more like a villain than a hero, there are some things I cannot say because it would be a spoiler but damn you were right. Also great video from Steven, kudos.

Now as far as the Glenn/Maggie thing, when I first watched the episode I thought the same thing and I have watched these episodes so many times (love this show), but Maggie did say that Glenn told her he would signal her and watching the episode with you today... I was today years old when I remembered that Maggie's last name is 'Greene' so maybe thats what they were going for with the green balloons, idk. The next two episodes, in my opinion are the best episodes of season six. Can't wait.
