I have always been conflicted about the Klaus/Camille conversations because all of their conversations are fabricated and it feels super manipulative, but I guess it is all in the world of being a vampire. But, he's not only using her for his plots and schemes, he is also using her as a pseudo therapist, which feels very uncomfy to me. At the same time, he is very sweet and tender towards her and is trying to help her out with her personal trauma. I guess it makes it a transactional relationship? Idk it's very interesting to me. I won't say much about Marcel/Davina, but I REALLY love their relationship.

I Am Not Chamari

I’m so excited for him to see the next episode and finally get some answers to his questions

I love the Klaus and Camille dialogues. It’s one of my favourites in the universe. Camille is a great character. I like that we see how messed up compulsion can be. She was right her brother is important too. But then Klaus is also trying to help her move on even though taking her choice away is morally wrong. Ah it’s so complex I love it cause both sides are right. And regarding Hayley. In the last episode she noticed a wolf was following her. Oh and Rebekah was just describing the Marcel-Davina thing as romantic to Diego so she could get more information by playing the bitter ex.

Your absolutely correct. In due time he’ll see how much time the writing staff put into each character of this show. Mind-bogglingly good

And the lines “A world far better than this one, A world where there is No Evil, No Demons and all people desire only to be good” the way he trembled while saying that, truly shows that internally all Klaus wants is to be good but his harsh experiences in this Dog eat Dog world coupled with his ever growing demons inside, and living almost an eternity with all this baggage has bogged him down. BUT BY GOD THAT MOMENT WAS TRULY THE MOMENT THAT SET THIS SHOW APART FROM THE VAMPIRE DIARIES OR ANY VAMPIRE SHOW IMO. This RENOWNED BIG BAD, LEGENDARY KILLER, FEARED & MERCILESS BEAST is now stripped down to a simple being that ONLY.. & I say ONLY wants to live in a world where everyone desires nothing but goodness. When he says that at the end, you can see in his eyes the pure need/desire and longing for that very world. What a way to peel back the layers MASTERFULLY WRITTEN AND ACTED!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The scene where Klaus utters those statements to a sitting Camille is a perfect window into Klaus’s soul. There, alone with what he would call a friend (Camille), in her time of need, we see him do something out of character (from the perspective of the audience) A COMPLETELY SELFLESS ACT with no hidden agenda or ulterior motives but genuinely to aid. Here, We see the true Klaus.

P.S I’m going to apologize in advance for the 3 part comments i tried to write in 1 then 2 but patreon has a bug that deletes crazy long comments and it kept getting deleted so… 3-Parter it is This episode is so good. It really delves deep into the psyche of Klaus. Also Steven, remember every time he talks with Camille klaus is always relating the “psychobabble” to himself The scene between Camille and Klaus in her apartment we see Klaus extend his kindness and compassion in the form of advice to Camille, telling her to do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he does on a regular basis, which is exact revenge. This scene really displays, through Klaus’s own confessions, that vengeance brings about no peace or solace and therefore tried to convince Camille to stop until he finally just compelled her

I think Klaus is very layered, but you will find out in time so are all the characters on this show. Klaus might be a villain, but he is so much more than that. I think Cami described it perfectly when she said that there are things that happen who made him break, made him snap. It's just good writing tbh.

Which makes this show so good is truthfully there are no "good or bad" guys especially early on….Its all about perspective, Yes Klaus is the "hero" but he’s painted as a hero from HIS POV from HIS STORY its so compelling because you see how he acts with Camille and even at the end with Haley he wants to show compassion but he considers it a weakness but in the same breath would kill anyone just to prove a point so is he really a "good guy"????……The writing is so good and the acting is phenomenal

Stefan Davis

Agreed with Klaus being the most interesting character in this universe. He's so wicked with his enemies and pretty paranoid with his fears. But there is also more to him than just that so it's just interesting.
