i'm american and i adore her! but i've found many reactors "tune her out" because they find her annoying so they just kind of gloss over the scenes she's in and that....bothers me. because then they miss the humor and smarts she has. some of her little one liners have my mom and i in stitches. she's such a funny character and chelsea is so talented and it just sucks when that gets brushed over

2021-09-21 15:40:37 +0000 UTCI've watched many reactions to this show. And I enjoy yours too! However; almost every reactor doesn't seem to respond the same way as I do to many of Gina's lines. Some of the jokes that has me bursting with laughter seems to go over every reactor's head. It is interesting to me, that all my friends and I laugh so hard at things that all the reactor's I watch doesn't seem to find funny at all. It almost seems like Gina's humor doesn't suit Americans? Humor is subjective, I know. And I enjoy your reactions! :D

2021-09-21 12:51:41 +0000 UTCMy least favourite charachters is Hitchcock and Scully. I don't really care for slapstick-comedy. Gina is a very popular charachter in Denmark because of the comedy-material. It suits danish humor a lot.

2021-09-21 12:41:49 +0000 UTCgina is far from dumb! actually, bc she's the only "non-cop" on the show, she has a different approach to things and in the last 2 episodes you just watched she was actually super smart and helped jake and holt with their problems! of course her character is portayed as "being annoyed by everything, not caring about her job and kinda superficial" but in the end, she's helping them a lot with the "non-cop" problems (and even with the cop stuff in that "young kids at risk" episode with rosa and amy)

2021-09-21 05:25:40 +0000 UTCi didn't think "the bet" was brief, literally the whole episode was building them bonding and jake seeing her in another light. but i've always gotten the vibe from the get go that they had this tension between them. as i said previously, it's so interesting to me. all the girls i've seen react to this show ship them from the start but the guys that react to the show always say something along the lines of "i just don't see it." it's just interesting to me lol
