Very strong episode. Also, the Marcel and Rebekah relationship is relying on a lot of history that we haven't seen much of. I love the relationship personally from what we've seen so far because they have a lot of chemistry. Marcel seemed to just be infatuated with Cami, but nothing deeper than that. The jealousy thing with Klaus is also interesting. It seems that Klaus is decently irritated by the whole thing because people are always falling head over heels for his brother. He's the likable one, while Klaus is the bad seed, or whatever. Probably goes back to his daddy issues.

I Am Not Chamari

The vamp in the woods from last episode could be a mistake, but Klaus could have just drained and compelled him off screen, because otherwise Marcel would know another one of his vamps are dead.

anyone else hate it when he looks down for extended periods of time lol

This show has done a great job at changing the character of Hayley. When watching TVD I absolutely hated her. After seemingly(at the time) coming between Tyler and Caroline I didn’t really enjoy her prescience but after betraying all of the werewolves she claimed to want to help, I hated whenever she was on the screen. The second time I watched TO all the way through, I watched it with my father who had not see TVD. He couldn’t understand why I dislike Hayley. I realized that he felt this way because despite showing flashbacks from TVD in TO for every character that was in it, the show never did that for Hayley. I understand why that change was made but it’s definitely interesting to see Hayley portrayed as a protagonist. I’m still not over it.

This is why Elijah is the weight of the show and my favorite character.

Fly on the Wall

Agreed. I want both in the same week. Hopefully TVD is just coming later with today's posts.

Fly on the Wall

When Elijah says "no one hurts my family and lives" you can see that this is the code he lives by. He will protect his family from everything, he sees his life's purpose in that.

I think Cami's compulsion works that when she's in Klaus's presence she remembers everything and when not she forgets it all. It's actually pretty simple. She is calm with him because she has never been afraid of Klaus.

I don't think people like Elijah just bc he's hot. His loyalty, his charisma and the way he's a man of his word help too ;)

Here's Cami compulsion breakdown: Cami is compelled to remember everything about Klaus being a vampire and all the things Klaus tells her only while he is there physically present and she is looking at him. The moment he is gone, her mind goes blank of all vampire related things. The one compulsion that is active all the time is her letting go of her brother's murder which she feels is wrong, everytime she sees Klaus she remembers that he is a vampire, that he compelled her and what it means... at which point she gets angry.

You said "Every woman sees Elijah and smiles that big. Because he's proper...and loyal." Please. They see Elijah and smile that big because he's hot as f@ck lmao. Also - Marcel and Rebekah definitely didn't come out of nowhere. They established in a previous episode how they were a couple way back when, so obviously they have history. Great ep. I'm enjoying these reactions for than VD tbh.

When Klaus kills someone its just another day at the office but when Elijah kills someone its like damn someone really fucked up🤣🤣🤣

Stefan Davis

usually you post the originals and vampire diaries the same day. I hope you don’t change that
