Very good point! Also it is in a lawyer's nature to always excell and become better at what they do. Mike and Harvey take big risks (hence why Mike is even continuing this job without a degree) and now Mike is forced to never rock the boat. It must be frustrating.

2021-09-22 09:02:12 +0000 UTCHe's not being a bit much. Mike is talented and eventually it would become suspicious that the best and most promising lawyer never advances and never moves forward. Mike is early thirties at best and there is no way he can stay in the position he's currently is for like the next 10 or even 20 years. That would draw attention. Lawyers are sharks and they are constantly trying to advance, its their nature and if Mike never moves forward it'll look strange and also be incredibly unfulfilling for him.
