even is a bittersweet ending, it still a well written story with a good farewell to the fans. It's obvious that Sarah remembers or she wants to falls in love with Chuck at the end.

I overall dont like the arc of sarah losing her memories, but i do like the ending. I dont think it matters whether she "remembers everything'" or not, she is getting stuff back, and she clearly wants to remember. The most telling thing to me is that she asks Chuck to kiss her after their story, she"ll fall in love with him again.

I 100% completely agree with you on everything about the ending. Quinn always bothered me as the bad guy for the final run. It should 100% have been Shaw. And yes i liked the episode, they had a lot of callbacks and the final scene is indeed very emotional and i love the song, however a show like Chuck should have had the ending that you described. And frankly all the times they thought that the show would end they provided happy endings. That's what they should have done with the finale as well. Nobody would have said anything negative if a show like Chuck ended on a very high note (marriages, children and the like). But despite this, it still is one of my favorite shows ever. Thanks for the journey Steven.

Also please the next show has to be Fringe. I feel like people have been asking for this show forever!!! It's on the same level of awesomeness that Person of Interest was and it's a show like POI and Chuck where you WILL end up loving every single one of the main characters. And it always on your list and it was always popular with your patreons, including myself. It was always second or third on every poll, missing the top by one or two positions. Now it was second in the last poll after Merlin and you already selected Merlin for Brian and you have to be the one that watches Fringe. I have been waiting and wishing for you to see your reactions to that show forever now.. And I guarantee it will bring new Patreons to you, On every other reactor's patreon I've seen at least one or two comments saying that they join that reactor's patreon just because they started watching Fringe.

When I first saw the ending I disliked it. Mainly because Sarah lost her memories and I felt so bad for Chuck. But on multiple rewatches I grown to love it. I realised it all comes down to whether you are an optimist or a pessimist. If you are an optimist you loved the ending because, like me, you are sure that Sarah and Chuck end up together anyway, maybe she won't remember everything but will definitely grow to love Chuck again. I mean the show ended with them kissing for Christ sake.... :D If you are a pessimist, I guess you focus on the negatives and that would bother you. Still, after all this time.

I also want to add, that I completely agree with you. The characters of this show are special. The only other show I can think of where I loved every single character is Person of Interest. Chuck is very much a character driven show, as you indirectly pointed out. It's not the spy story that makes this show so special, even though there are great moments there too. It's the characters that make this show my favourite of all time. Season 5 and 1 are definitely the two weakest to me. Season 3 is my favourite, without a doubt, and Season 2 and 4 are tied for second.

Awesome reaction, Steven. What a ride it's been. The beach scene was from the ending of the Pilot episode, btw. Where Sarah tells Chuck to trust her, just like Chuck now tells Sarah to trust him. To anyone seeing this comment, though. If you watch the Pilot episode of Chuck right before this finale, you see just how much attention to detail the writers but into this episode. It's awesome how many callbacks there are.

It's obviously not the ending a lot of people wanted, but there's a reason it's loved by so many people too. It has a 9.2 on IMDB for a reason. It's a tremendous amount of callbacks to the pilot this episode, and it honestly has a ton of awesome moments. The ambiguity about Chuck and Sarah's future is something that bothers people, and I understand that. But there are soo many signs this episode that, not only do they get back together, but she will remember who she is again too. Maybe not within a week or two, but with time, she will.
