2021-10-01 04:15:31 +0000 UTCI would be surprised as time goes on if people cant understand the difference between entertainment and reality that shows will end up having half their episodes pulled off streaming services, as long as they dont touch the dvds i guess. Weve already lost episodes of community and the office etc. Then you have stuff like world of warcraft turning in game paintings of sexually dressed women into bowls of fruit...... SMH

2021-09-30 23:27:26 +0000 UTCI get where you’re coming from about pierce. However I think this show is aware that pierce is inappropriate and that is intended to be part of the humor. The other characters know he’s being gross and racist and it makes it harder for him to find acceptance. We’re supposed to laugh at pierce but not with him. Ari was framed in a far more problematic way in that his misogyny, racism and homophobia are given a pass by those around him. People are just supposed to accept Ari in a boys will be boys way that allows him to continue that behavior. Which was probably quite accurate for that industry at that time (Harvey Weinstein was still making movies then).
