i just rewatched this series for the third time with my mom and only just caught that on the third watch through! now it makes me wonder what other little nods/easter eggs are hidden throughout. it's always sunny is one of my favorite shows and one of my favorite things about it is how well it utilizes callbacks like that. it's always so fun as a viewer to find those little moments!

When Alexis and David are looking at the apartment Ray mentions that the former resident killed himself and that the fan is now a breakaway model. If you remember back in season 1, Johnny had to give a speech at a funeral for Bob’s brother who died hanging from a ceiling fan. It’s never confirmed but most likely that apartment formally belonged to Bobs brother.
