for me the question was never "why would they participate" but instead "why wouldn't they." it's a small town without much to do, and in spite of the drama, they all generally like one another's company. here's an intriguing stranger inviting them all together for a night of play and intrigue, who wouldn't say yes to that lol i love this episode so much. as i said earlier, it's just dear to me. something about it is precious. seeing everyone's dynamics and how important their friendships are. even if nothing "big" happened we got to see more of peyton struggling and her confiding some in haley, we get to see tim be humanized and see why he and nathan have stayed together all these years. we got to see skillz and mouth and fergie and their antics. i just really treasure this episode a lot and to me it just means more in a way than some of the bigger more dramatic episodes.

2021-10-03 00:47:13 +0000 UTCI LOVE this episode. It was honestly just a lot of fun and it is good to see everyone (for the most part) having fun! They're teenagers and they deserve to have an evening that they can enjoy! I think everyone was into it because they had nothing else to do, but they would also be doing it together.
