Actually, a lot of people don't have sex before marriage it's forbidden in a lot of religions and cultures, like mine it's not really permissible in my culture and religion.

2023-04-16 20:29:49 +0000 UTCFinally caught up! I love Rory standing her ground against Emily. As much as I know Richard had nothing to do with this specific incident, it kind of annoys me that he gets off scot free in the whole situation though. He may not have encouraged Chris to go after Lorelai, but he sure as heck went after Luke to try and "fix" him, because he wasn't good enough to be associated with their family. It also frustrates me that Luke won't go back to Lorelai, when everyone knows he loves her, and he knows he loves her, but it takes Emily's permission to set him running for her?! Who the heck cares what she thinks? Maybe it was just the push he needed to set his mind right, but it always irked me, for no other reason than now Emily can think that she is the cause of her daughters fixed relationship. Which no... she ruins everything. As for Logan and Rory. I want to hate Logan. Always have, probably always will. I want to hate him, but I don't. I really love him. Little things he does, you can tell how much he really has fallen for Rory, and understands that she isn't prepared for the kind of relationship she says she wants right now. Hence, the asking her if she is sure she wants this, before they have sex, and doubling down with asking if she is sure she doesn't want him to leave. He understands she isn't the kind of girl he usually dates, and wants to make sure she isn't going to do something she regrets. He can be a douche. We've all seen his douche bag moments, but there is something to be said about the company we keep. He has always had bad influences around him. He is privileged, and cannot understand what it is like to not have money, but for someone who is so cut off from any other lifestyle, and surrounded by people who all think and live like him, and look down on those with less money, how could he be any other way? I think I may have thought too far down this road. lol Logan is a charming, likeable jerk.

In this case, Logan knows that Rory is not as experienced as him and is a bit naive and ” pure”. And I think he knows she has feelings for him. I think there is a good moral case for him Not getting involved with her. But it is highly relatable, it is very easy to take advantage of younger Girls, I remember how naive I was!

2021-10-06 21:44:51 +0000 UTCRory is bound to those dinners. It's how she goes to Yale, so she can't just not go. The most she could do is be standoffish with Emily. Richard wasn't involved with the break up. He might not of approved with the relationship but he didn't know Emily did what she did. I love how concerned Sookie is. The fact she just pretends NOTHING happened is infuriating. I kept yelling "SHUT THE FUCK UPPP" over and over. I love how Rory handled all of that. Richard blaming Lorelai for the dinner argument is annoying as hell. Lorelai wasn't even there! OH I totally forgot the Lane/Zach thing! Her yelling at her very confused mom was hilarious!

2021-10-06 18:21:19 +0000 UTCSo sorry, Rebecca. I know this sucks. But some people act as if Logan did anything wrong there, when he always asked for her consent and stated clear boundaries for their relationship. Getting too attached can happen sometimes. It sucks but it’s nobody’s fault - the heart wants what the heart wants.

2021-10-06 11:57:22 +0000 UTCExactly. I've been in her shoes too, long ago. Tried something casual and then took all the "signs" of being extra nice was that he was getting attached too but that wasn't the case so I had to end things to not get hurt any further. Edit: funny enough, he came back two years later to say he was finally ready for a real relationship but I was already with someone (my now husband).

2021-10-06 11:53:22 +0000 UTCLogan and Rory agreed on something casual or as Rory described it they're "having fun". But you can clearly see that it's not something Rory does. She gets attached and for her stuff like reading his paper or him coming back from his trip early are suggesting that he got attached as well. But officially they're not in a relationship.

2021-10-06 07:00:37 +0000 UTCLorelei hanging up on Emily is how all their phone calls should go 👋🏼✌🏼 I love that Rory stood her ground and didn’t just sweep what happened under the rug, she’s not very confrontational but it was necessary and had the intended effect. Rory and Logan hooked up at the end of the last episode (it was the one with Marty and the $75 Chinese food). *Just a funny observation…during the scene where Lane brings Rory lunch at the bookstore there is a couple outside that walk up to the same magazine rack like 4 different times, when the camera is on Lane they walk into frame again and pick up a magazine…makes me laugh every time I watch this episode 😂
