Sign me up Cheryl, I'm all for listening to some BSB hits!

Steven Merced

I really enjoyed this episode. I love the boy bands and nobody could top BSBs! I didn't find it strange that Finn went to confront Brody. They both still had deep feelings for each other. I think that eventually they would have found their way back to each other, Just my opinion. This episode makes me want to go listen to all the BSB hits!

Cheryl Stocking

So cringe!

I know, I'm sorry. People are so negative when it comes to the way people identify themselves that I've sorta learn to tone them out. Trust me I was definitely bothered by it but I just roll my eyes in my mind and ignore the ridiculous comments he was making.

Steven Merced

The Nicki moment was the best!

Being a former Escort, wouldn't it be difficult to have a relationship with someone knowing you'll be attending other partners "needs"? Just curious!

BSB!!

Eh, I think Rachel was dishonest more than once. Even if it was not explicitly about sexual partners, she was very deceptive over the nature of her relationship with Finn in general. Obviously, it would have been great if Brody was honest with Rachel about what he was doing, but I can understand why he felt like he needed to keep it from her, especially because him being an escort long precedes her. Regardless, The show made it clear that they think Brody’s work is disgusting. Brody definitely has to wear protection with his clients. My problem is that I don’t think Rachel was never in trouble. The concern about STDs is valid, but then, if they’re in an open relationship, it should have been up to both of them to make sure that they were both being safe, getting tested, etc. I have to believe that Brody has to do that or he quite literally couldn’t continue to do his job. So, it just felt like Santana and Finn were butting into business that was not their own, especially Finn. Brody never, not even up until the moment that Finn punched him, showed signs of being violent or dangerous. So, it just felt like they were beating down on Brody, because the writers knew people don’t like his character and were waiting to get rid of him. This might be a large lie, but he’s not the one in the relationship/the one being lied to. His reaction here is completely unwarranted.

the blaine/sue number is a fever dream but i'm not mad about it, it's SO funny! i love santana but she just got there (and didn't tell them beforehand she was going to move in) and just made a mess with all their relationships.. it's like she never changed, even tho she's saying it's bc they're her family, she should know you can't do this with your friends! she might be right, she might be wrong but there's better way to say everything she said to them! and i'm on you with this one, brody was probably like "why is this guy interfering in my relationship???"

As former Escort i can tell u ...we DO wear protection ... ur customers arent normally as attractive as in Glee ... so yeah no way someone does that without. But the fact that he isnt just open about it really bugs me ... its just a job and has nothing to do with his feelings towards Rachel but HELL she has a right to now that stuff beforehand xD not everyone likes to share ; )

glee always had the messiest storylines, even s1-3, it's just that we were more interested in the original cast and now we feel like we're relieving messy things over and over again! and, with the popularity of "teacher/student" relationships in modern tv shows, i'm actually shocked that glee didn't try to do it! (finn kissing emma, and puck getting with shelby for like 2 episodes were the closest to it)

Since Rachel has a history with Santana (one that isn't built upon a foundation of trust), I can absolutely understand why Rachel wouldn't believe Santana (if Santana brought the truth to Rachel), she has no reason to. And I can absolutely understand Santana not being willing to go meet someone alone in a hotel, when she doesn't trust them and knowing that its very likely going to be a stressful period for him. This is a new town, she doesn't so far seem to know anyone that leaves Kurt. Does she feel Kurt would provide the physical security in case things got out of hand? I am sure she thinks that Rachel would believe Kurt if Kurt was exposed to the truth, but the security side..... Now who doe she know that she could absolutely count on to come if Rachel was in trouble? Who would fit both criteria. One being someone Rachel would believe, and one that would provide a larger physical presence to provide security? So I actually find it rather logical. And Finn doesn't lead with violence though it goes there as soon as Brody touches him. But that is also in character for him. The is the third largest lie in both scope and time frame, with the other two being Quinn/ Puck (though primarily Quinn) lying to Finn, and Teri lying to Will both all at teh same time first season. And what was Finn's reaction to Puck? The future wife line that was very clingy, I absolutely will give you that. And I can speak from experience about how hard it can be to convince someone that the person they are in love with, isn't who they say. I literally spent two weeks, and it was finally videotape of my sisters fiancé having sex in a public park that made her listen to me. And I tried lots of steps before that, but that one finally did the trick.

The issue with Brody and Rachel, is yes in an open relationship, with the Asterix that they must be honest with their partner. Rachel was dishonest once. Brody it is implied has been doing this from the get go, that every time he isn't around he's out working. So that's one lie, versus I would assume dozens if not hundreds (Heck how many times did he lie about where he's going, what his doing when he just looking for a client versus actually successfully making a transaction). And while we don't know if Rachel was using protection, or if she and Brody were using protection or if Brody and his clients were using protection, your statistically likelihood of contracting one of any numerous STD's compounds dramatically the more sex partners that are involved. The moral failing is that again while Rachel lied about one thing, Brody lied about many. He has hid a significant part of his life from his partner, and not just hid it, deceived her over and over again about it. That's a huge moral failing, that even if Rachel is fine with what he does for work, the numerous lies about the how, when and who would make it near impossible for you to continue a relationship with someone you weren't truly that sure about in the first place.

Mark Wood

Never mind everything else, I'm here for your geeking out 🤣 And as a fellow BSB fan i couldnt agree more 😜

Norma Serrano Ibarra

In my point of view, Brody is having sex every single night with STRANGERS and then going home to Rachel without telling her. Who knows if he’s wearing protection every single time? 😭 He could catch an std and pass it onto Rachel easily. So yes that’s not okay and I think they have every right to be grossed out by that. Obviously they don’t know his whole sob story about paying for college but either way it’s bad on his part And Sue being Nicki Minaj is the best moment ever because I’m a huge nicki stan and Sue is iconic for that.

It's a little disappointing that you had absolutely no reaction to Ryder's blatant transphobia this episode.

Asaunte

It was cringe, dramatic, and forceful too lmao

Mrs Payne

I think you hit the nail on the head with all your points. Ryder and his catfishing story is especially cringe for me because I know where it is going and sadly it becomes another example of the writers having an idea that could be good and not knowing how to execute it well.

Veronica _R_T

Was it just eww 😂

Okay, so, I think I hate everything about this episode except for the music. The performances were fun (although i didn't really care for the last song) but everything else just felt gross. First and foremost, the Brody thing. I never really understood what was so horrible about what he was doing. I understand that he wasn't being truthful to Rachel about his job, but she was also keeping secrets from him about Finn. Brody being a sex worker to pay for school isn't some moral failing that Santana and then Finn made it into. He should have told Rachel what he was doing, and made sure that they were both being safe, but Rachel and him are in an open relationship? I guess I genuinely did not understand why it was written like this. And Finn butting in and assaulting him is super weird. Like Brody did nothing wrong to Rachel and to tell him to "stay away from his future wife" is literally so cringe and embarrassing. The whole Unique storyline and Ryder being transphobic... *sigh* All the wild misgendering this episode is wild and somehow we have still avoided saying the word trans. Obviously, Unique could be genderfluid, gender non-conforming or something else, but she very much said that she's a girl, so I don't know why we haven't been treating it like that since she first appeared onscreen. I think the writers are handling it so poorly, as if identity is some kind of choice. I never liked the Will/Finn stuff because I think it's weird that a grown man felt so betrayed by a 19 year old kid, like, it is clear that Finn meant no harm and didn't harbor any feelings for Emma. It is also clear that that is not why Emma left Will at the altar. So, harboring this grudge and taking out his anger on a teenager, in front of young teenagers, is just weird and plain toxic. Will needs to get a life? Even if this does deeply upset you, why go out of your way to try to embarrass Finn? Ugh. Kitty coming in at the end and being friendly annoyed me to no end. Oh well. At least the Blaine/Sue stuff was fun. I loved Blaine's rendition of I Still Believe and am sad that the show didn't no more Mariah during their run.

I Am Not Chamari

Finn flying to a different state just to fight a guy he barely knows for doing a job that has nothing to do with him was just eww.

Mrs Payne

Dear God... I'll have a lot to say about this episode.

I Am Not Chamari

Sue as Nicki will always be iconic lmao
