2021-10-28 07:33:51 +0000 UTCAs for Juliette, no, she has never been to the spice shop nor would have any reason to go there since she isn't Wesen and the shop specializes in Wesen afflictions. She doesn't even know that it exists at this point. And it makes sense for Nick to not want to try telling her again given how poorly that went last time. She thought he was crazy and still doesn't seem that open to the idea of an occult cause to her memory issues. A couple of big episodes coming up.

So when the line started he wasn't actually getting anything lethal yet, just something that would eventually put him to sleep. The failure of this initial part of the protocol was a reason that there was a temporary moratorium on all executions a few years back because prisoners were apparently waking up during the process and showing pain as they were being killed.
