They mentioned Laurel's last name in the pilot and it's Castillo - so that's why I was not surprised she has hispanic roots. The actress does as well btw, which is why her spanish was so good ;)

2021-11-06 08:51:29 +0000 UTCThis first season of HTGAWM is a masterpiece for me. I love that fact that the main characters are not split into good/evil or black/white. All the characters are different shades of grey. They are all broken souls for different reasons that have or had good intentions but they never learned healthy ways to deal with things which means they always end up in awful situations trying to dig their way out. All of them is capable of anything given the circumstances and the right motivations so it is hard to rule any of them out until you see the final reveal. And even then the reveal brings more twists.
