If you ever blur the lines between the regular guys and the truly bad ones in this show just remember how much Negan got off torturing these people and killing whoever he killed. You can make your own mind about the saviors and Negan as the show moves forward but I just wanted you to remember that.

2021-11-06 08:05:28 +0000 UTCnow i can comment lol i love this episode. this episode was like on a historic level. the anxiety i felt throughout the whole thing, the whistling, the darkness. everyone was talking about it at my university the next day. like even if you didn't watch it, you still knew something big had gone down. even one of my professors devoted a whole portion of class to talk to us about it all lol no other show or movie ever made me feel that anxious feeling, that sinking feeling in my stomach before. i'd never had such a physical reaction to anything like this. and negan's entrance.....he has such a flair for theatrics and of course his entrance would set that tone. i feel so horrible for rick's people. you can see the helplessness in his eyes and for the first time in a long time, i think he's feeling just the reality of things. there's been this "untouchableness" to rick and the gang, even when facing past "villains" and threats. but with negan and his people, all bets are off. everyone is equally at risk and equally threatened. hearing his mindset/philosophies touched on even a tiny bit through his little comments and jokes is really remarkable. he's such an interesting character and i'm so excited for this storyline. i watched TWD years ago when it first came out and stopped for a while. i got back into it right at this storyline and this is what i've been waiting to jump in and watch with you. this show has always had it's own magic to it, but this episode right here really is something. i'm so excited for what's to come and to finally get to watch and comment along with all of you! one thing i miss so much about being in school when this was airing was all the discussions we had about it between ourselves the next day. it may be cheesy, but someone could be wearing a TWD shirt and you could just strike up a conversation with them about it and end up spending so long chatting and delving into everything. that was something special the show gave way to as well. and i love seeing those same discussions and excitement here in the comments :)
