I forgot how weird season 8 was. But holy crap they stuck the landing so well on the finale. The finale is so good that I forgot how much I didn’t enjoy this season

2021-11-12 17:50:22 +0000 UTCthis is why i've been scared to watch the movies. also the first time i watched psych i loved it but towards the end it just felt like it was dragging on. i adore the finale but there's moments where in my second watch through like i was just waiting for the finale and that made me so sad.

I know part of the movies being off is Lassiter’s actor having the stroke but the writing just never felt quite the same. Still enjoyable all the same but…just not quite there. The finale episode is great though!
