new girl is a recent show that did that exact same premise and it was well received so who can really say. it's fun to me that a trope way back then can still be fun today. even in new girl they did the "try to make it even" premise and it was hilarious lol

This episode just showcases how different things were for us in our 20s in the 90s from how they are today in our 40s. If that opening scene between Chandler and Rachel happened today? He would be destroyed. Back then, we took it with a grain of salt. Crazy how times have changed.

You know, when I was a kid, I was as upset as Joey finding out about his dad. His mom being totally ok with it confused the eff out of me. As an adult, I realize now that there are a lot of different types of non conventional relationships and marriages in the world. It's just a lot to take in when it's your parents lol

LOL, I'm currently watching the reaction and only stopped to comment on this))), but you beat me to it)). Also, scrunchies tend to slide down the hair after a while especially when your hair touches stuff(like pillow, couch etc.) Maybe it's just a continuity issue, it slid down lower than it was supposed to be during shooting and no one fixed it. Or maybe she just wears it that way. IDK, it's the 90's))

re: the scrunchie - a lot of girls in the 90s wore lower scrunchies as just a method of keeping their hair back and off their faces. the lower scrunchie look was cute but tbh pheobe is the only one i've ever seen wear it so low. usually it's like mid-way down the hair, not at the very, very end lol
