new girl is a recent show that did that exact same premise and it was well received so who can really say. it's fun to me that a trope way back then can still be fun today. even in new girl they did the "try to make it even" premise and it was hilarious lol

If that opening scene between Chandler and Rachel happened today? He would be destroyed. Back then, we took it with a grain of salt. Crazy how times have changed.

As an adult, I realize now that there are a lot of different types of non conventional relationships and marriages in the world. It's just a lot to take in when it's your parents lol

Also, scrunchies tend to slide down the hair after a while especially when your hair touches stuff(like pillow, couch etc.) Maybe it's just a continuity issue, it slid down lower than it was supposed to be during shooting and no one fixed it. Or maybe she just wears it that way. IDK, it's the 90's))

2021-11-10 06:58:54 +0000 UTCre: the scrunchie - a lot of girls in the 90s wore lower scrunchies as just a method of keeping their hair back and off their faces. the lower scrunchie look was cute but tbh pheobe is the only one i've ever seen wear it so low. usually it's like mid-way down the hair, not at the very, very end lol
