I like the thing with cris and with haleys sister because it shows how difficult it can be to be married at that age, the temptaion and selfdiscovery.

2021-11-14 18:09:25 +0000 UTCHonestly, describing Luke as emotionally unstable is probably the greatest character description I've heard about it. Like, he genuinely is so fickle when it comes to deciding what he wants... and it's irritating. Part of it is totally a writer thing - because we really don't need to see Lucas pining after Brooke. It adds nothing to the show, and honestly still, for me, takes away from the show and is inconsistent with how Season 1 developed. The audience knew that Felix paid but Brooke didn't. Andy and Karen never broke up. I never bought Jake/Peyton. I think they're cool as friends. They're clearly doing a slow burn, but there's something about it that has always been off to me. Peyton turns into a stepmom when she's with Jake and Jenny, and that's not what I want for her. I do enjoy the detail that Luke is the one that called Jake because he was worried about Peyton though. The Nathan/Haley drama is a bit annoying and, at first glance, unnecessary. However, I think it reveals things about their relationship and makes us remember that despite their marriage, they are very young and sometimes selfish and motivated by what they want in the moment. I don't think that Haley is really into Chris, and I don’t think her kissing him (or moreso letting him kiss her) was actually about him, but Haley having doubts about what she really wants. We have to remember that she is 16 and never really had a boyfriend before this and has never been in love before Nathan. She might have thought there were feelings for Chris, idk, but really, I think she was enraptured by the music and singing and dedicating her time to doing something she loved. But, she also loves Nathan and she must have felt like she had to choose between him and the music. And in a brief lapse of judgment, she chose the music. I'm not sure I exactly like where they're taking Haley's character this season, but I do find it interesting that Haley has been painted as a responsible character and now we’re seeing that crack a bit. This might be the first time that Haley got exposed to something that she really really wants. We have seen how selfish/douchey was when Nathan only cared about basketball. Maybe this is the flip side of that. Now, obviously, Haley doesn’t only care for music and she loves Nathan a lot, but I think sometimes the things we want make us less of a person and even less responsible. Arguably, Haley marrying Nathan in high school wasn’t the responsible thing to do, or getting a tattoo, skipping school, getting drunk, etc. We have seen Haley do irresponsible things in the name of love, so I find it interesting that in this season, we’re seeing Haley do something irresponsible for music’s sake. Again, I don’t agree with her choices and find them really bad decisions, especially where Chris is concerned. But Chris, for her, I think, is this representation of a dream she never knew she could have. But what she has done is not at all fair to Nathan

2021-11-14 16:43:13 +0000 UTCHey Steven, actually I kinda prefer you watching the show alone. Don't get me wrong I Brian is awesome but I always feel you are doing a better job alone. For one you are less distracted with commentary and for other, I really feel you are sharing more of your thoughts when you are alone. For me makes for a much better experience.

2021-11-14 09:12:01 +0000 UTC3 years apart isn't all that bad. Though maybe that's because my first kiss was at 16 with someone who was 19 so right around how old they were. Though it wasn't sleeping together. So if Nathan is 16/17 she is 19/20. I think it's one of those gray areas.

2021-11-14 02:36:34 +0000 UTCaw i’m sad brian is gonna miss out on the episodes 😩 he’s gonna miss a lot. but i did feel like there was a lot more commentary in this👍 and this season is the season i dislike haley alot. she was very selfish and just not a great wife at all lmao. like i get she’s young but still it’s just common sense and if you’re so in love with nathan you wouldn’t do things like what she did. also UGH taylor was very cringe and i hated the storyline of her and nathan alot it was just creepy like she’s in college and he’s 16…ew. she just gave creepy vibes to me.

2021-11-14 02:12:14 +0000 UTCShe is in the wrong. She is old enough to understand the consequences of her actions. I am not sure you would say the same thing if the roles were reversed. The thing is, as mistakes goes, it's a big one. Lying and cheating is something that most of us starting from early age can understand how wrong it is. A teenager mistake would be leaving and throwing a fit that Nathan is not thrilled about the direction their relationship was headed. An actual mistake is lying, sneaking and kissing another guy behind your husband's back, which is what Haley does.

2021-11-14 02:11:04 +0000 UTCThis storyline made me really confused on how I feel about Haley cause I don’t like that she kissed Chris but at the same time I remember being 16 and confused and just not knowing what I’m doing. Cause Haley Nathan kinda puts her on a pedestal and make it seem like she can do no wrong. Which totally isn’t fair Haley can make mistakes and I just hope you can see later storylines from her perspective instead of just Nathan’s cause Haley in season 2 is made out to be in the wrong and you’ll see it in the next few episodes. But we forget she’s just a kid and got married to young. I love Jake and Peyton.
