2 of the most emotional character deaths I’ve seen in shows and both involve Jeffrey Dean Morgan in different roles 😭

2021-12-02 21:21:30 +0000 UTCThis episode made me physically ill after watching the first time. I've never had that happen before (or since) from watching tv. lol - I can understand why so many people were done watching after this point.

2021-11-16 20:24:21 +0000 UTCone more thing i want to mention as i'm watching the episode - the thing with negan is he really is a man of his word. as twisted as his word may be. if he tells rick to get the axe, that means rick is getting that damn axe (hence negan shooting the walkers "saving" rick so he can finish the assignment given to him - all about power and ownership. negan said rick belonged to him. he's not "letting" him be eaten by the walkers because he is "his").

2021-11-16 20:22:02 +0000 UTCthis episode is a masterpice, a horrific masterpiece, but a masterpiece nontheless. everyone was talking about this the next day. like some comments previously mentioned, it's like we were all kind of in a daze. we discussed it in one of my literature classes, and everyone had so many thoughts. as i said in my comment last week, it was so much fun because you could see someone in a TWD t-shirt and just strike up a conversation with them. many people in my class, i hadn't spoken to or gotten to know. until these episodes. and then we grabbed coffee at the starbucks on campus and it was just really special. it was corny and cheesy and beautiful lol i'm also loving seeing you make connections (re the title this episode for example). i'm so happy this is where i can jump in and watch with y'all here. it's so fun reading comments and hearing opinions, it reminds of being in classes those years ago when it aired :)

2021-11-16 19:37:00 +0000 UTCOKAY IM ON MY BREAK SO I CAN COMMENT NOW! i met the actors from the show like 4 months before this episode aired and i met glenn and abraham 🤧😐 and then they died and i was like NOOOO. when i watched it when it first aired i was bawling my eyes out it was really bad😭 and yes like i commented earlier you got the title right. i just loved how they took a quote from season 1 to put as the title for this drastic episode. hope you enjoy the rest of the season . the day will come when you won’t😼 LMAO i’m kidding

2021-11-16 12:48:40 +0000 UTCI think Abraham did offer himself in a way. He puffed himself up when Negan was walking around and Negan saw it. Abraham was challenging him. It wasn't a coincidence he was chosen. It just sucked that Glen got taken out too. As far as the other's emotions, everyone reacts differently. I think they were just in shock.

2021-11-16 12:48:28 +0000 UTCYou are right. The title comes from what Jenner, the guy at the CDC, said. Jenner unlocks the doors to allow Rick and the rest to escape. He then says, “Here’s your chance. Take it.” Rick replies, “I’m grateful.” And Jenner responds, “The day will come when you won’t be.”

2021-11-16 09:31:02 +0000 UTCThis episode is still one of the most, if not the most traumatizing episodes of the series for a lot of people. I remember just being emotionally drained for days afterwards.
