You always surprise me wjhen you guess correctly what happens in shows. I never see things coming.

Yeah Lorelai and Rory are gonna go through a rough patch now, you can see it in Lorelai‘s disappointed face as Rory moves into the pool house. Rory is making a super dumb decision here bc she just never had anyone doubt her or criticize her and now this is the consequence. Rory could’ve just taken a few other classes or talked to other journalists and how they deal with rejection and doubt, but she took the easy way out and Emily and Richard allowed her to do it. If I were Lorelai I‘d be so pissed.

I don't think it is unhealthy for Rory to take time off and figure out what she really wants but I also understand Lorealai's perspective on things. Also seeing how much Rory crumbled because of one comment just kinda shows why she doesn't have IT lol. I always think critism, especially when you know you are doing what you are supposed to do, should be taken as a motivator rather than a call of failure but because Rory has been told all her life how perfect she is she just can't handle it! Anyways, I am super excited for your following reactions. A show that I consider light-hearted/feel-good like the Gilmore Girls, would probably be Friday Night Lights?

Michel Stephany Garces

OG Charmed or Parenthood

Chuck Bass

I think Ugly Betty is a great suggestion

I Am Not Chamari

if you're looking for a new series. Parenthood is a great show, amazing cast, including Lauren Graham (Lorelai). Not a "happy" show exactly but very human, fun, deep. Really good show.

I have to give you some critical feedback on your recent reactions: You've started to watch shows with the subtitles enabled. And i'm sure that's because of the way you edit your videos, but it really messes with your reaction, because you read the dialog and don't watch the actors. For example you knew Rory was quitting Yale before the said it, because you read it first.

Bunheads. Same creator as the first 6 seasons of Gilmore Girls. Centers around a ballet studio run by Emily from Gilmore Girls. Name is Fanny on Bunheads though. Same amazing humor, whether you like dance or not. The really great thing though, if I remember right, they always try to work in someone from GGs into every episode. If I am wrong, its still a lot of them... There were a couple really obscure ones. My friend and I always questioned each other whether we found the person in the episode, as there were one or two that were only in a very small part on GGs. They then took some of the Bunheads cast and put them in the update of the GGs reunion episodes. And I would love for you to go back to Bones. You did the first episode, but I'd love for you to watch more. It is definitely one of my favorites. Probably not the lighthearted easy going show you are looking for, but it is good.

My vote is for OG Charmed! I know you started the pilot but I honestly think you'll love it. It's cheesy at times but it's such a good comfort show! Just like Gilmore Girls. I wanted you to do The Fosters, but I know your brother is doing that! Another suggestion is a short one! Only Murders in the Building! It's only 10 episodes so far so maybe after Pushing Daisies is complete, you could do that? I also saw a suggestion for Ugly Betty, and I loved that one too! :)

AmyWonderland92

If you haven’t seen parenthood. That would be the perfect show to follow up Gilmore Girls with.

Pushing Daisies is a GREAT suggestion! Much more visually interesting/artistic, but similarly quirky and character-oriented. Great cast too. I did see Bunheads back in the day once through and think it *could* be cool for a few reasons: I really love the musical/dance tangents of Gilmore Girls and Bunheads is basically centered around the arts so it levels that up, and in fact there's one episode with such an interesting performance it makes the whole series worth watching in my opinion, even if the series otherwise feels unfinished. There are also some of the same Gilmore Girls Universe actors in different roles and it's fun to see them. Downsides are that it was pretty short (and like I said, kinda felt incomplete), and is also sort of harder to get a "hold of" so it'd be even more of a niche reaction than GG.

YES!! I love both of those! I kind of want to say Hart of Dixie first tho. :D

cruzinbosco

A perfect episode for me!!

Mariella Nilsson

YESSSSSS PLEASE SOMEONE HERE REACT TO UGLY BETTY!!!

I just had to pause the show to throw in my suggestion for the next show to replace this one and I think Dawsons Creek would be good or Hart Of Dixie.

Nicole Giesbrecht

I think you should watch Friday Night Lights. Ugly Betty and Jane the Virgin was great too. 2 of the best shows ever are Outlander and Call the Midwife

Heh, I was just coming to explain the Get Smart reference but I was too slow. As for what could replace this show, I can't remember if you've seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? Same creator, so similar tone. If you have, she did another show called Bunheads but I haven't seen it. Seemed similar, though. If you're looking for something else clever and light-hearted, maybe give an early Bryan Fuller show a look, like Pushing Daisies or Wonderfalls? Both are brilliant, imo.
