2021-11-27 18:53:50 +0000 UTCI read somewhere that they wrote Rory falling off the path like this cuz dhe was such a good girl before and that wasn't "realistic" so they wanted to pull it back. I just get so disappointed with her at this point but I'm starting to realize maybe I've been disappointed with her since season 4. I'm definitely #TeamLorelai though as someone who's gone through depression Rory seems like she might lowkey be slightly depressed right now.

And you are not alone, this was the point I was just done with Rory. I haven't liked her for a while but at this point I was just like damn she is the worse!

She did all the right things, dealt with everyone in all the right ways and she finally lets Rory suffer the consequences of her actions. She always protected Rory, sheltered her from everything bad, but this time she realised that Rory has to do this on her own, even if it hurts Lorelai a lot. Good on you, Lorelai!

She quit Yale, she chose to make this huge mistake taking her down this path and I wanted her to have to live with all the consequences of that stupid decision.

Probably my favorite Taylor episode because for once he wasnβt being obnoxious lol. I love how Lorelei is handling this right now, as a single parent to a daughter thatβs also 20 I relate so hard to this, weβve not faced anything like this but just having to watch your child do stupid shit on their own is hard but necessary work. Also Zima is trash, I used to drink it in the late 90βs and it tastes like regret ππ
