The cops took her to the house, assuring her it was safe. That wasn't on her. That was the stupidity of the cops. She called out, thinking the noise was one of the police... they assured her it was fine... I would take that as they searched the house. Obviously they didn't. They are supposed to be the only ones there, and they are supposed to be watching out for her, so why wouldn't they come in and make sure she was okay. They were only there for her to pick up her things. Maybe they were seeing if she was almost done. When she knocked him out, she hit a weak spot in the attic floor and fell through the ceiling. Who knows if she is hurt or not, but she is most definitely in shock. To get mad at someone for not fighting, or not running is gross. I know this is a show, but this is a very real reaction. It's like when people get mad at girls for not fighting their attackers. Sometimes the natural response is to freeze. And she is still very young. Maybe 19, 20... At that age, I can completely see calling daddy to fix everything. Not knowing how to handle this. Thinking she may have just killed him, but not knowing what to do next. Daddy is who she calls when she is overwhelmed. What do I do? Do I leave? Not knowing if she will be charged with murder. The last thing she is wanting to do is to actually kill a person. I get the freezing. You never know how a victim is going to react. She is a victim. She isn't stupid. And I know you didn't mean it like that... the only reason I am so passionate about it is that there are thousands of people who are blamed for attacks because they could have fought back. They could have run. The victim is never to blame. I get not understanding it. And this is just a character. I only mention it because I am sure many young girls saw themselves in that reaction. Great reaction!! And please don't take my words as me berating you or anything. I get the annoyance in the heat of a great tv show. Wanting to save the characters, sometimes from themselves. She froze. You just never know what your reaction will be until you are in the situation. It is just a tv show, and I'll stop being so serious now. lol Thanks for another great reaction!!
