Yeah, I don't quite understand why you don't think Brooke "deserves" to win. 1). Being the captain of the cheerleading team and Homecoming Queen DOES mean something. Being captain shows great leadership experience. She often runs practices and choreographs dances. It also shows commitment to a craft. And being Homecoming Queen proves popularity. I know Erica said student government isn't a popularity contest, but it kind of is. People need to vote for you, at the end of the day. And as someone who has ran for student government in the past, it's really not at all about what you've done. Is it helpful to provide examples of what you've done to help the school during your campaign? Sure? But student government is about ideas and what you want to change about the school, not what you have already done, especially because it is more difficult to make change outside of student government.

At least give her a chance before completely writing her off. School president is a popularity contest and she could be a good president.

2021-11-30 20:33:02 +0000 UTCSo I am rooting for Brooke for class president because I went through a similar situation. I was not a great student, my GPA was on par with Brooke's because I was more interested in the social aspect of school. Sports, Dances, Parties etc. Then one day I can't even remember why, I was sitting through part of a student council meeting and I thought 'this is kind of cool'. So I decided I wanted to be a part of it. So next time there was elections I ran for president and won. I probably wasn't qualified compared to others but I went out and campaigned and fought harder than anyone else and won. I also think the problem with the Haylee/Nathan situation is that at some point Haley tied her musical identity and success into Chris' we saw her make a few comments over the past few episodes that makes it sound like she feels she needs Chris to succeed. I think Nathan just wanted her to believe in herself more and find her own identity and success separate from Chris which I don't hate. As someone who is now divorced due to an unfaithful partner, I would not feel okay with my spouse admitting she had kissed a man and now wanted to go live in a tour bus with him. You pointed out that Haley didn't do much with her music outside of Chris and I agree, she needed to take more responsibility for her own success and put in the work to make it without Chris.

2021-11-30 19:16:12 +0000 UTCI think S2 was necessary to get to the just beyond amazing S3. And Nathan needed to learn the lesson that while he loves Haley and she is his wife, he also needs to have his individual needs met, meaning that both Haley and Nathan deserve to follow their dreams.

2021-11-30 14:44:17 +0000 UTCNathan did encourage her but he wasn't expecting to feel threatened by it. Both of them have very confused feelings at the moment. I do wonder though, if Chris wasn't on tour too, would he have let her go? As for Brooke and Mouth, this is the second lie in a short period plus he obviously likes her too much for him to handle. I think I would have needed space from the friendship too so I get it.

Your actually seeing things from her perspective and Nathan’s. In my opinion this season isn’t my favorite just because of how the stories felt out of place and the characters were OOC. But there are some good episodes. But this season isn’t nothing special it kinda felt a like filler season in a way.
