I love that they're showing us how all the characters are coping with Marissa's death and didn't just sweep the storyline under the rug.

There's more to Taylor's marriage. I lover her and her story this season so much!

PamPam and her PamPams

Oof, the three of them are dealing with the grief very different from eachother. Ryan in the first episode at first was in a deep state of depression and avoidance. The cage fighting was his way of shifting the focus from his emotional pain onto physical pain which in a way is easier to deal with. He didn’t fight back, just let himself get beaten up. Like how many people cut themselves. And then at the he shifted over to anger, instead of getting beaten up he finally beat up the other guy, putting all his feelings and energy into revenge mode, which makes him act irrational. It’s a distraction, it’s what keeps him going. Depression is the hardest and most exhausting part of grief. Ryan isn’t thinking clearly and I don’t even think he knows what he’s gonna do once he actually faces Volchok, he is just blinded by the feelings of rage and getting his revenge. I feel so bad for Summer too, she is doing everything in her power to not get into the depression, but you can tell she is right on the verge. It’s inevitable though, the depression. It’s like having a splinter, you can’t actually heal completely as long as the splinter is there. Pulling the splinter out is painful as f***, but you need to go through that in order for the wound to heal. Otherwise it’ll turn into an infection that just keeps growing.

In my opinion, Seth was in the right here in this situation. Like i fully understand that Ryan is angry that Marissa is dead, but this wasn't a good idea. Seth dosen't want him to throw his life away killing volchok and was trying to save him from doing something he cant take back. So overall I think seth did what he thought was right. Also i feel bad for summer you can tell shes struggling and doesn't want to let it in :(

Kailey

Maybe I'm an outlier but I like Kaitlin. Or maybe it's just the actress. I can feel the pain she's going through, even before Marissa died. She's the forgotten child. She's acting out. Has she ever really been shown love by Julie or her father? I don't think so. I feel like I'd be doing the same as her. And really, stealing donated clothes isn't the biggest thing in the grand scheme of things.
