Regardless of how everyone else feels, I love the Cordelia/Connor stuff! The effect really lands for me.

2021-12-15 16:30:55 +0000 UTCHonestly hate the Coredy Conner stuff but knowing now the joss issues this makes sense it feels like joss is saying to charisma I made u loved and I can make the fans turn on u … I dunno this season destroys all of her previous character development it’s so bad bad writing so bad … as for Fred and Gunn doesn’t it bother anyone else that he took her choice away … making an ‘executive decision’ for her means he has no faith in her she’s a big girl and had she done it she would’ve learned and paid for it growing pains … it’s like a mom who does everything so her child so he doesn’t grow up and take responsibility for their actions and turns into an entitled jerk. Gunn is taking away her autonomy it’s like he’s in love with an innocent child, in love with her innocence not Her …

2021-12-09 14:25:02 +0000 UTCI can't stand this whole arc if I'm honest, from Cordy's memory stuff to Connor. Before Cangel were even hinted at, Cordy was set to be Connor's pseudo mother figure. It's gross, and it knocks me ill every time they're on screen.

2021-12-09 06:38:35 +0000 UTCYeah, Connor is I believe 17, and Cordy is 21/22, which is still arguably a gross age gap. Charisma looks at least mid twenties, though, being 29/30 in this, and the backstory of her being his former mother figure. ..An odd fucking choice indeed. 🤮

2021-12-08 14:09:40 +0000 UTCThe problem with this season it's that if you care about Cordelia stuff too much, it's going to overshadow all the amazing stories this season. If you don't care too much about Cordelia, this is the second if not best season of the show. I love everything about this (except Cordelia), love Wesley's development, Fred, Gun and Angel. Awesome x10.

2021-12-08 04:46:29 +0000 UTCSteven you will be happy to know that although for a lot of your reactions there will always be a lot of disagreements with you especially when it comes to the Buffyverse HOWEVER when it comes to Connor/Cordy, join the 🚆 train of everyone! lol you will not get any disagreements on that. The age is the issue, the fact that he’s Angel’s son is an issue and even though Cordy is suppose to be 21/22 here, she really looks way more mature and literally changed his diapers and was like the only mother figure to him. So it’s just odd and wrong and just no… so I am with you, let’s hope this was a quick failed improvement and move forward. Fred storyline was amazing with finally digging it into why Fred was sent to Pylea! I never assumed we would get it so this was a nice surprise and the side of Wes and Gunn was also interested.
