2021-12-16 23:30:55 +0000 UTCCaptain Wuntsch is played by Kyra Sedgwick, who did star in a long-running show called The Closer, and who is indeed married to Kevin Bacon. So, good detective work there! And good reaction. It's typical of shows by this team (others: The Good Place, Parks & Rec) that mysteries and long-term arcs don't always get strung out forever but move quicker than you'd expect. Also that when it comes to personal stuff, people behave in a relatively grown-up way compared to other TV shows (Jake telling Amy he likes her in a sensible, respectful way; the squad having a moment of shock about Charles-Gina, then getting over it and getting on with their lives). I find it refreshing.
