Honestly if the writers were actually trying to push Brucas properly, they would have took your advice and gone the Lucas route. But Brooke could have also asked Felix or Peyton. However, I ultimately like that they went the Brooke/Mouth route. This relationship is very important to the show and I like how they centered it in the moment. I actually thought it was sweet. And Brooke becoming president is awesome.

2022-01-18 04:08:18 +0000 UTCI don't think she woke up and just decided. I think that when she stood up to the boss of the crab shack for all her fellow crabs it made her feel really good. I think she finally saw herself as a possible leader. I love that she's actually starting to believe in herself.

2021-12-10 02:17:05 +0000 UTCi agree with you about the brooke storyline. for me it read as ... brooke is bored and broke now and she needs a new hobby. so she randomly woke up one day and decided to be student council president lol. super random and her acting like she's earned it reeks of entitlement imo. and i'm saying this as a brooke fan. there are a lot of things i like about her character, but this storyline isn't one of them.
