2021-12-16 11:14:28 +0000 UTCThe Final Battle Parts I and II- Love, love, love these episodes!!!! Phenomenal!!! I do agree with you that this two part finale and this season overall has their flaws, but I still really love these episodes in spite of these flaws. I have to say that the final battle is nothing like I imagined, and overall... I actually love it. Because it shows us just how powerful Emma's belief is. How powerful all Saviors' beliefs in magic and hope is. And it is so beautiful. And poor Emma was so lost and hopeless. The Black Fairy most certainly underestimated Henry's strength and hope to keep fighting for Emma and for his family. Also... I really love how once again Emma's family and those closest to her aside from Henry are all transported to the Enchanted Forest once again, aside from Zelena who was transported back to Oz, and that almost immediately, Emma's lack of belief begins to cause all the realms to disappear one by one. I love, love, love that Killian leaves the castle to climb the beanstalk for the magic bean, and that David chases after him. I absolutely love Killian's speech about him and Emma fighting for their love, making it a nod back to season two's sixth episode... Tallahassee. Oh... and I love that David calls Killian son, then son in law when Killian cockily raises his brow. I love how Killian also jokingly calls Snow Mommy. It's funny because Hook is two hundred years older than they are too. :) Then... Killian gets the bean, he and David run from a dragon hiding out in the giants' castle, Killian falls from the beanstalk, and David falls when the beanstalk falls just as the darkness is about to fall over everyone. Next... I am so happy to see the Evil Queen come back in and to hear that she and Robin are now robbing from the rich and giving to the poor... or at least most of it. :) And in the end... Robin proposes to her with a ring he shoots into her mirror by arrow. Sadly, they could only get Sean Maguire back enough to have his voice state... "Are you ready for another adventure?" It's still quite a beautiful moment. However, my favorite moment with the Evil Queen is seeing her sacrifice herself to give everyone else as much time as she possibly could to save themselves. And she does. It is such a beautiful moment for her, because she was truly selfless. Gold... At last, Gold finally does the right thing to try to help Emma and to save Gideon. He defeats the Black Fairy... his own mother by killing her once and for all, and doesn't listen to his dark self when Rumplestiltskin tempts him about having all magic and love too. Bravo, Gold!! He finally, finally becomes a hero at last and together he and Belle get a happy ending together, and a fresh start with baby Gideon. And they have their dance to the Beauty and the Beast theme song too. Beautiful. :) Now, while I do enjoy seeing Gold finally do the right thing and seeing him and Belle together with a chance to raise their son again... I can't help but feel that Gold almost doesn't really deserve a happy ending, and seeing Belle immediately take him back after all the pain he's caused her and everyone else. Especially ever since his mother arrived in Storybrooke. But... c'est la vie. Gold does do right by his family and the rest of our heroes at last, and so I can accept his happy beginning too. And I am happy for him. The Charmings have a new farmhouse and farm with a dog, Regina becomes the Queen of Storybrooke as the dwarfs bow to her respectively, Henry returns to school and remains friends with Violet and close to both of his mothers, and Killian becomes another sheriff alongside Emma. And then, the entire Charming family now including Killian as Emma's husband, Regina, Zelena, Belle, and Rumple come together for a family dinner. Season six as whole has its flaws. Overall... I do love it, but there are certainly storylines and story arcs for certain characters I do wish had been written better. But I do love season six as a whole nonetheless. And the ending of this two part finale is quite beautifulas we see what's happening with all of the characters we've grown to love over all these seasons. Oh, and yes... Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are still married and are still very happy with their two beautiful children. :) And lastly... just when we believe the story to be over, it starts all over again and surprise... we see this little girl seen a few times throughout these final episodes, as she arrives in Seattle where she seeks to find her father... who is none other than Henry. A much older Henry. And now he has no memory of her, as he appears to be cursed. It's brilliant and I could not wait for season seven!! I was so intrigued. I too was spoiled to learn that season seven was going to be different, though I had no idea just what was in store. But I was still excited for it. And now... I am so excited to continue watching your reactions as you get into season seven too!!! I love season seven as a whole. It's not perfect, but I really love what's to come, and i really hope you will love, or at least enjoy all that's to come as well. Just you wait! I am excited. Also... I am so mad because I've read a number of comments from people telling you and other reactors watching Once Upon a Time as well, that you shouldn't watch season seven because it's so different. Thank goodness you aren't going to listen to all of them. Season seven is just as good as all the rest of the seasons. And I still really think you're going to like it. As for my favorite episodes from season six... I absolutely love Dark Waters, Heartless, Murder Most Foul, Page 23, Awake, The Song in Your Heart, and The Final Battle Parts I and II. I would love to know which episodes you love the most from this season too, Steven. Please let me know if you wish to answer. :) Season six may not have been your favorite season, but I am still happy you enjoy it overall nonetheless. It's not my favorite season either, but I really do love it overall. So... thank you for all of your reactions for each episode!! Sincerely, Heidi
