I cannot bring myself to rewatch this episode but if you ever get a chance to watch it with the DVD commentary on with the three leading ladies and the director, it is GOLD. They know it's bad, lol.

That's why I like Charmed so much(OG not the reboot) because even for late 90s -early 2000s, it was a different take. (even though the first season may feel a little outdated nowadays it's not half as bad as other stuff out there) Seriously, you gotta react to Charmed. That's the one witch show that is worth it.

2021-12-16 08:16:27 +0000 UTCI know people are divided on this but I always kinda liked the witch stuff this season. But that's just me. I dunno Magic and Witches are just a normal part of DC comic stuff so to me I didn't even think twice about it. Plus it makes sense because Magic is one of Clark's main weaknesses in the comics but I know you aren't as big a Superman fan so I get it but for me it was just common knowledge so I didn't blink when it was used. I always think it's funny you get on the corniness of some stuff. Comic stuff can be corny sometimes that's just part of the genre. Some don't but I tend to like these kind of eps. This one is technically both a filler and an arc ep. It's goofy with the Witch stuff but I think it's funny and it's also an arc one because it furthers the main plot of the stones. I like alot of the filler stuff in genre shows. IMO some of the best eps of Buffy/Angel and Supernatural are the fillers too.

2021-12-16 08:07:08 +0000 UTCAh "Spell", or as I like to call it "The Hocus Pocus Episode". I don't like this episode, IMO it's not well written. Isabelle is such a caricature of an evil witch and the over the top way the lines are delivered makes it even more cring-worthy. The tone is also all over the place, swinging from humorous at moments but then serious at others. Your comment about it being like The Craft is spot on. Don't worry there will be better episodes in this season.
