I lowkey feel crazy for it but I side with Love a lot more than Joe. She's making mistakes because this isn't her. She's not calculated or out looking to do these things. I think Joe really did break her. And realistically Love would not be going through these things if it wasn't for Joe. It's like her best friend said last season, the truth doesn't scare love. She is who she is and accepts the truth about Joe. Joe doesn't accept any woman for who she really is. He creates a fantasy of who they are. He has a clear pattern. Every time he has a new obsession "things will be different" every time. Joe pretends his killing is noble but it never is, besides henderson, the majority of his murders have been motivated by self interest. His inner monologue has some people fooled. If we didn't hear his thought process he would look like a great husband, improving and being good to her after Natalie. But he expects her to fall out of love. That's insane. They're both messed up but the only one that is being real in the relationship is Love, besides Theo, but she actually feels bad about the impulsive sex while Joe is going to Ocean's 11 heights just to leave Love.

2021-12-21 06:37:48 +0000 UTCYea Joe is very in denial about how crazy he is, Love is too but I feel like not to the same degree as Joe. He rationalizes constantly and will half own up and then explain why it's still not really his fault. But I do think Love obsesses over the men she falls for, just not in the same way as Joe, not where she wants things of theirs and to always know what they're doing, but she does manipulate and go to very intense lengths to keep them. Like in season 2 when we find out she's also a murderer and she explains how she'd been manipulating Joe at the same time he was trying to do the same, how tightly she holds onto Forty so she never loses him (different type of relationship but she displays the same obsessive tendency) and with Theo there's extenuating circumstances for why she manipulates him but I think part of it is still her wanting to keep him around. (There's another better example but I don't want to spoil anything). To be clear though, I definitely think they're both just as crazy as each other and if I had to choose I think I'd sway towards Joe for being crazier.

2021-12-20 22:46:43 +0000 UTCLove has been messing up all season, but I'm sick of Joe pretending like he is also not to blame. Joe is completely fine killing for the women that he loves, but is livid when Love does literally the exact same thing. And if he wasn't trying to manipulate her out of the marriage, then they also wouldn't be in this mess. Joe calls himself a serial monogamist but is obsessed with other women while being married? And cheated on his wife twice? Love is also a cheater, but I think it's clear to me that she is not obsessed with Theo and is cheating because Theo is actually giving her attention and affection. Idk it's all messed up, but I would never solely blame Love for what was going on. And yes, Henderson was going to roofie Ellie.

2021-12-20 19:31:14 +0000 UTCI really wanted Sherry to die towards the beginning of the season. Not sure when that really changed but when I got to this episode I was hoping they hadn't heard Love so they could escape.
