Fair enough. Whenever I watched this episode I always thought Sheldon could have gone at any other time by himself, not like he didn't have the money.

2021-12-21 16:06:20 +0000 UTCThey have specific visiting days for tours, which are not all that often. It’s pretty unlikely Sheldon would’ve been able to join them. I don’t think Leonard is wrong for wanting to take Penny, but if I was Leonard, I would’ve definitely taken another scientist. As Sheldon said, it was a really big opportunity (it seemed like it was a lot more than a standard tour), and not that it would be wasted on Penny, as I’m sure she would think it was cool, but it would be better appreciated by another scientist like Leonard.
