If house was an average doctor he would care about his patients lives but people patients die no matter what for him to care about every single one of them would make his character uninteresting. people die every second therefore he cares about the case. hes not a violent psychopath therefore he doesnt wish violence/pain on his patients. later on youll see how his personality and skills go hand in hand. house being house is what lets him be a great diagnostician. if he was more empathetic he would be like cameron. if he was less intelligent he would be foreman considering they have the same narcissism. if house was had less of an ego/had more or too much humility he would be chase.

All the reactions of the characters are things you see every day, especially the message of this episode which is everyone looks out for number one, which happens every day with a lot of people. What I love about House is that he owns it and doesn't hide his nature in niceties. Because while not cynical as House, most people are the same. At least House is honest about it, even brutally honest sometimes. It takes courage. Great reaction. See you next time.

2021-02-17 19:28:31 +0000 UTCThe Black Plague is still around lol.I get really annoyed by Cameron she one of the characters that when she comes on screen I roll my eyes. And before the Cameron fans lynch me it’s mainly because she makes a mess and expects others to help her through it. Cameron’s not happy with herself so she takes it out on others mainly house. Even Wilson gets mad at her and he’s super nice lol On the point Forman was making. I don’t think that’s weird at all not seeing his colleagues as friends. I have colleagues I go out with them but they aren’t friends. Friends are people you want to hang out with. Now you can have both but when it comes to a highly competitive job that’s going to be hard.

This is one of my favorite episodes of House just for the morality issues and the ending is such a fantastically horrible scenario. Also, the black plague is still in existence. There are several cases that pop up every year usually in the arizona/new mexico area.
