yah its sad that was the case cuz ive watched smallville when it started airing in 2001 since i was 6yrs old and tbh he's my superman. It's subjective I guess, it's really what portrayal of superman one was exposed too or was most effected by and for me it was by far Tom Welling as clark kent.

2021-02-22 07:49:18 +0000 UTCTom never seemed interested in playing Superman, only Clark Kent. He never wanted to wear the suit. So even if he could still play Superman, I doubt he would. He DID briefly return as Clark again on the CW's "Crisis on Infinite Earth" crossover, though. I'm looking forward to the new Superman show premiering this week. Tyler Hoechlin was great in the role on Supergirl imo, so I'm glad he finally got his own show. Plus it seems somewhat inspired by Peter Tomasi's Rebirth comics, which is one of my all-time favorite eras for Supes.

At the moment it's not realstic for to be so calculated and try to hide the fact that clark was in the room. It was an instinctual split second thing is how i saw it. I didn't understand why steven didn't get that. sometimes he makes observations like that from the pov of a viewer not fully grasping the severity of the situation characters are in. Great ep tho, and the ones to come will be gr8 as well. I'm sure he'll enjoy them

2021-02-19 09:04:14 +0000 UTCHahaha I enjoyed the disgusted face you made when Lionel took Martha's hand. This was a great episode, I especially love the leap from the Daily Planet tower. Regard the question regarding making a new Superman show. They are coming out with a new Superman & Lois show! It's premiering on Feb 23 from what I can find online. Superman will be played by Tyler Hoechlin (who played Superman on the recent Supergirl tv show. He was great in those appearances. Lois will be played by Elizabeth Tulloch who played Juliet in the tv show Grimm. Hopefully it will be good!

She had been added to the Superman comics in 1987 and was a prominent character on the Animated Series. She (the character, not the actress) was also in a season of Supergirl. The actress - Jill Teed - also plays the mother of Bobby 'Iceman' in X-Men 2. In fact all of the family members of that scene ("Have you tried not being a mutant?") have guest roles on Smallville, Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) being that classmate of Clark that accidentally got his powers in season 1 (Leech). Iceman's father was one of the murder victims of that de-aged killer with the woman who could see the future (Hourglass). Iceman's brother from that scene will have a guest appearance in season 3 of Smallville.

Martha calling out Clark's name and all those obvious things, I think they heavily hint that everyone has suspicions of Clark, especially Lex since literally the pilot. Lex is the only one to jump right on with the question "How did you get up there?" and Lionel instantly steps in and switches the flow of the conversation.
