This may have actually been a midseason finale, but those are usually Christmas themed episodes.

2021-02-23 07:34:32 +0000 UTCParks is a smart show. It just has some stupid characters. My 2 college roommates and I went on a 4-month roadtrip around the country after we graduated. It wasn't exactly on a whim as we saved up for it for two years, but it was totally worth it. If anyone ever has the opportunity to do such a thing, I highly recommend it.

2021-02-22 11:03:26 +0000 UTCI don’t know if I’m alone in this, but the whole “it’s Parks, you need to turn your brain off, you can’t take any of it seriously LOL” bullshit is well past old. S1 was garbage, S2 was mostly garbage, but it’s past S3, and if you let it, this is one of the most intelligently written, most topical, and most heartfelt sitcoms of the modern era. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but it feels like you locked yourself into one, and nothing in the actual content of the show will change your mind.

2021-02-21 05:23:54 +0000 UTCParks always had a few extra long episodes that even had director's cuts on Hulu. I think it was an NBC thing when they were trying to have a Must See TV event night. This could have been when The Office or 30 Rock or something was having a milestone or sometimes they do a midseason finale before the holiday break.
