Not sure why my original comment got taken down as I did my best to fill in the blanks where you were having questions, but again, its important to note that season 4 premiered as part of a 2 hour event... so on that first night of the premiere, the way episode 2 ending is how we left week 1.

2021-02-25 16:44:53 +0000 UTCthis premiere was fast paced. and not in a good way. they tried to cram in too much and most of it felt contrived and made no sense. i haven't seen this season since it originally aired, and i remember liking it as a whole. so i clearly wiped this awful premiere from my memory.

2021-02-24 17:43:45 +0000 UTCI knew you wouldn’t like this episode ahaha. This season’s still solid and has strong moments throughout the story, the further it goes on imo.

2021-02-24 17:39:07 +0000 UTCthe idea for the season on its own is good, the execution is just so bad from a writing perspective

2021-02-24 16:42:32 +0000 UTCI laughed quite a bit at his review lol. Lots of solid points, but I will say I like the second half of the season more than the first half.

2021-02-24 15:13:39 +0000 UTCThank you. That's all he needs to do. For some reason he has a flawless fairytale happy ending in his mind where if anything deviates from it he just"doesn't like it".

2021-02-24 13:58:03 +0000 UTCI can see why you are upset about this episode but i still think you will like this season especially if you dont focus on what shouldve happened in your mind and just accept where the story is going now.

2021-02-24 13:50:41 +0000 UTCAlso Michael and his team are taking over Whistlers job, The killed Mahomes family to draw him in but Rapaport’s character got him transferred before they could get to him, Also I think you didn’t feel anything about Sarah because you never really liked the relationship stuff, and it’s cool you can feel how you feel about episodes, it doesn’t hurt my feelings when I disagree

2021-02-24 13:46:08 +0000 UTCAlso IMO Sarah being alive doesn’t take anything away from last season, It still motivated Lincoln to do whatever it takes to keep his son from dying, also Michael Rappaport’s character looks upset because he didn’t convince them to help and they were leaving so he didn’t have enough time to get their help, and the I didn’t have any emotion towards the Michael and Sarah reunion this time but when it originally aired I had a lot of emotion from it, but I watch shows differently than most, I watch just to watch and I try not to think about what story I want to see, I just watch to see the story they want to tell

2021-02-24 13:37:41 +0000 UTCMichael is still a fugitive for the bank robbery and the breakout, the charges were only dropped for Lincoln and Sarah

2021-02-24 13:24:40 +0000 UTCI thought she needed time off because she was pregnant.

2021-02-24 08:39:30 +0000 UTCOh one other thing, Company knows that Alex & Michael are in the US, so they did the logical thing and ambushed them in their home towns (rural Colorado for Alex, Chicago for Michael), which both guys followed to a tee. I’m shocked that the big plot hole in my eyes (Alex and Michael leaving Scylla on Whistler when he gets shot and not even trying to get it before running).

2021-02-24 07:40:29 +0000 UTCAnd if anybody warned you about how much they threw together in Episode 1, you would probably guess Sarah is alive. I’m impressed nobody spoiled it.

2021-02-24 07:32:34 +0000 UTCAlso Michael broke out of a US federal prison and is still a fugitive in the US. The only person who had all the charges dropped against them were Sarah & Lincoln (when Kellerman confessed). Technically that means Bellick, Sucre & T-Bag are all fugitives in the US for also breaking out of Fox River. And Lincoln just murdered a dude so literally Sarah is the only one who is free. The writers assumed the viewer didn’t forget that they were the Fox River 8.

2021-02-24 07:10:45 +0000 UTCSo now that S4 started, the main reason Sarah disappeared in S3 was a contract dispute with the actor. Kinda crazy because Sarah Wayne Callies was not well known before Prison Break so that was a pretty bold move. Of course, she'd go on to be in The Walking Dead which obviously became much bigger than Prison Break. The writers wrote her off thinking she wouldn’t be back.
