So I hate writing this post because I am probably going to be murdered by Bonnie defenders but I really really don't think people truly understand what just happened here. The ENTIRE 3rd season the witch spirits in various ways along with Esther were working to wipe vampires off the face of the planet to undo the evil and restore the balance of nature. ALL of it... The witch spirits resurrect Jeremy so they can use him to aid in killing the Originals. They make him see Anna and Vikki... one who can lead them to Micahel and the other that is working with Esther on the other side. Esther tries to kill Elena from beyond the grave by telling Vikki to tell Matt Elena needed to die to make hybrids thinking Klaus would kill her and wouldn't be able to make more. She then sent Vikki to murder Elena. Fail. The witch spirits open up Bonnie's grimoire to the spell to reveal veiled matter which Got Bonnie to drop the veil so Mason could lead Damon to the cave that had not only one but TWO ways to kill the originals. One being Michael and the other being the fact that another white oak tree existed. When Michael failed fell through and they helped hide the coffin containing Esther. The witch spirits sent Bonnie dreams to lure her to the coffins so she could eventually unspell Esther's coffin so Esther could try to kill them herself. The Bennet line of dead witches essentially 'powers' Esther's body so she can do these spells to rid the world of vampires. They fucked up Alaric's ring and Esther started influencing him from the other side eventually turning him into a hunter so he could kill annihilate the vampire race. They did ALL that. ALLLLL of it, and then Bonnie went rogue and saved Klaus. All on her own. They have to be PISSED. Now she wants to give Klaus back his immortal hybrid body... hell no.

The Pastor didn't shoot Damon. The Pastor tried to get Damon to let Matt go and when Damon said hell no the Pastor said I won't let you in and went back in the house. The 2 stooges that had the guns shot Damon and when you asked what is Damon doing, I was thinking like... duh lol he's being Damon how many times has he used this laying pretending to be injured or dead in the middle of the road or in this case in the Pastor's front lawn?

Elena got out because she had vampire strength. They had injected Stefan and Rebecca with a ton of vervain to weaken them but they didn't inject Elena because she wasn't a vampire.

also, all previous compulsions ware off once someone becomes a vampire. that's why elena was able to remember that moment between she and damon in her bedroom. also, if you remember back to season 2...caroline remembered all the times damon compelled her too once she became a vampire.

bonnie getting used and abused to help the others is unfortunately a common theme on this show that drives most fans nuts.

Season 4 one of my most favourite seasons of TVD is here 😻Great mythology music story and ships in this one. I really love the next episode can’t wait!!

So last weekend after watching your finale reaction I had this itch to rewatch the pilot of The Originals, and well.... I'm almost done with Season 3 😅. Having TVD fresh in my mind watching your reactions and now my binge probably made me the most hyped person on the planet for you dive into that show. But alas, we are months away yet. Very hyped though! You are also surprised again how Rebekah was taken down by the wooden arrow. If you remember when we first met Elijah, Damon impaled him to a wall through the heart. He "died" for a few hours before regaining enough strength to pull the pole out of his chest. Its a way to slow them down but that is all. Season 4 is very good, one of my favourites. Its gonna be a fun one.

This season for me is the best tvd season.....great mythology, great ships, and one singular plot starting right from the 1st episode.....I think for me the only reason this season is better than season 3 is because it has only one single plot, unlike season 3,which was several different plots linked together..and also,this season has the perfect buildup for the BIG BAD

I agree this was a great season I just hated the Writing for the first few episodes because one thing in particular kinda felt forced
