My favorite episode!!!

2021-05-04 03:43:47 +0000 UTCThis is such a great episode that just gets better with rewatches. Five (out of countless) things I love about this episode: 1. The use of color (yellow, standard, and blue) to differentiate the timeframes. 2. Continuity. The catalyzer that broke is the same one Kaylee mentioned needed replacing in the first episode. 3. Kaylee being so much better than the "genius" mechanic Mal hired first. 4. Wash donating blood to Mal. 5. Amazing transitions like Mal opening the door to the shuttle in current time transitioning directly to him entering during the meeting Inara scene.
