I loved this episode. Like someone said above, it moved the whole Dexter story line forward. I really like Hannah and Dexter's relationship and how its evolving, and how Dexter is moving forward as a character through it. It was also refreshing to hear him discuss about the dark passenger openly and admitting that it is more of a mechanism for him to avoid taking the blame.

It was kind of a bummer for me that you didn't like the scene with George and Quinn, because I was looking forward to your reaction since the last episode. Respect your opinion but damn, it seems like you cannot enjoy something unless it goes like you would plan it. Anyway, love this season and don't worry, this season has been about many things but the most important plot has always been something else, and will come to fruition in the final 2 episodes. Don't know why except Isaac never asked him to do that at least not that we know of and Dexter wasn't invested that way. Quinn has hated George from day one. Anyway, I wasn't disappointed. And the progression of Laguerta/Tom investigation makes perfect sense, but you were talking during their conversation in the oriental "dive". Tom says, we have to trace Doakes' actions prior to the explosion at the cabin. Makes perfect sense to investigate the cabin. Which leads to who rented the cabin and we know that Tom was part of the investigation into Dexter's mother's killers at the time. He put 2 and 2 together and it was logical. And scary! I'm nervous just typing about it. The phantom hasn't been the main nemesis at all. A 2 episode arc. The main storyline of the season has always been Dexter/Hannah, Dexter/Deb and now Deb/Hannah. Dexter admitting to Hannah that there is no dark passenger was him admitting to her that he killed her father. She accepted that, was grateful for that because she couldn't bring herself to do it herself. That's when she says I love you. It's a huge step for Dexter, he has never told anyone he loves them (accept Deb as his sister), not even Rita (until after she was dead, he said it in the funeral home). Even now he says "I THINK I love you too". He still isn't sure what true love is after all these years. I loved this episode. It moves us into whole new things and I think its perfect. What a roller coaster we are on for the next two!
