Absolutely love Lane's growth here, but while I don't agree with Ms. Kim, you have to understand that it's just a different parenting style, different culture, and maybe that's the way Ms. Kim grew up so that's all she knows! Not making excuses (or giving spoilers) but I love where this goes (disregarding all of season 7, as many will tell you)

I grew up with two ministers for parents, I wasn’t allowed to go to a mainstream university, and I was kicked out at 18 for getting engaged to an atheist. I watched this growing up and never realized I had become Lane. Great reaction as always!

2021-03-29 11:35:44 +0000 UTCI like Lane stories too. Mrs. Kim is so strict. Lane is 18 years old and she is still treating her like a child. Lane is 18 and doesn’t have ANY breathing room. She couldn’t even choose her own college. I’m surprised Lane hasn’t moved out at all. She should have applied for all the scholarships she could and left home for college. Luke and Loreli really are in love. They just refuse to acknowledge it, Loreli more than Luke I think. I don’t know why.

I'm a big Patti Smith fan and she used to play there a lot 🤘 CBGB was a New York City music club opened in 1973 by Hilly Kristal in Manhattan's East Village. The club was previously a biker bar and before that was a dive bar.[2] The letters CBGB were for Country, BlueGrass, and Blues, Kristal's original vision, yet CBGB soon became a famed venue of punk rock and new wave bands like the Ramones, Television, Patti Smith Group, Blondie, and Talking Heads
