That's your opinion. Teri's amnesia makes sense considering how much she went through. That's trauma for you. It took one trauma to break her brain and another to snap her back in. Kim makes bad decisions but it's not unrealistic to go to the one person she can reach that went through the same thing she did. It's easy to say something is trash without thinking about it.
