This is almost a year late but no one mentioned it.... The guy's name is Moriarty, as in James Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes. Because this show is an allegory to Holmes... House is Holmes. and Dr. Wilson is Dr. Watson. The name of the girl in the Pilot episode is Rebecca Adler. Adler as in Irene Adler, Sherlock's love interest.

I was in my 20s at the time, but I met a girl, fell in love, we grew up, had a family, grew old together.... and then everything started literally falling apart as I began waking up. Like... walls, beds, everything crumbling away as I regained consciousness. The weirdest thing was I was so sad when I woke up. I missed my wife and kids. It took a couple days for me to shake off that feeling.

2021-03-31 16:49:54 +0000 UTCLove this episode, I had the same reaction as you when the guy pulled a gun and shot House. Like, this is not the show that has guns I was so surprised! Seasons 3 and 4 are the awards prime of the show, bangers to come. Everything that happens in the haluccination comes from House's head. Its all real information that he already had. The guy who shot him was talking to him and told him about his wife because House already knew. His mind recognized the shooter's face and connected it with the memory of what happened. Then House remebered what the woman , the patient looked like, then he remembered what happened to her. He already knew. This episode was 45 minutes, 45 minutes of House having conversations with his mind and thinking when in reality he was just shot loaded on stretcher and brought down a few floors to the ICU. 2 minutes at most. Someone told him what happened to the wife and he dismissed/forgot and it was long enough ago that he didnt instantly recognize the guy's face when he walked in. The brain works so much faster that we can comperhend, he remebered and connected all these things and we the viewer saw the 2 minute journey in 45 minutes. Trully a 10.
